- The Operations Technology Analyst will support the strategy, design, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Manufacturing Execution System (MES-AMO) architecture.
- This architecture will guide, trigger, and report on plant activities as events occur, manage workflow to efficiently and consistently manufacture high-quality products, and monitor, control, and optimize the overall production process.
- This position is critical to AFL’s Operational Excellence strategy, providing hands-on development and implementation of MES solutions to monitor and control core manufacturing processes and supplying essential manufacturing intelligence for problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- The role will involve direct collaboration with I.T., the Continuous Improvement Team, and Controls Engineering to integrate the MES system with ERP functionality and shop floor interfaces (SCADA/PLC). Strong UI/UX design skills are essential to ensure the developed systems are intuitive and user-friendly.

What your future day will look like:
- Support and develop MES Solutions by aligning development with business strategies, deploying and maintaining solutions and collaborating with internal resources to ensure effective system support.
- Assist and train end-users and troubleshoot issues with MES application.
- Data management and analysis on the floor data, providing continuous improvement with processes.
- Conduct routine MES application tasks, manage user permissions and terminal configurations and support onboarding of new process areas and projects.
- Work alongside team of MES Developers and IT team to provide technical support.

To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a similar field required.
- 2 years of experience in industrial automation, MES, or SCADA systems (such as Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk, or similar platforms, with Ignition experience strongly preferred).
- Experienced in software development and coding (Python, SQL, .NET, VUE/React ), HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX Design.
