What your future day will look like:
- Manage production scheduling, raw materials, inventory control and procurement.
- Work closely with various departments including quality, production and logistics ensuring production activities proceed on schedule along with streamlining processes
- Develop purchasing strategies (including analyzing market trends) ensuring raw materials are readily available for production while minimizing excessive inventory
- Develop/maintain relationships with vendors including negotiating terms, pricing and delivery times
- Work with different teams/departments to drive continuous improvement

Type: Direct Hire
To be a champion in this role, you will need:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a similar discipline is required
- 5 years of supply chain management experience (including production scheduling & procurement) in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in chemicals manufacturing will be a huge plus!
- Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
