Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures. Determine and develop CNC tool path for each component part Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required. Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary. Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data. Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required. Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment, to like new appearance, according to maintenance plans and established procedures. Monitor and expedite information to establish and maintain project schedule within budget Capacity to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and urgency Interpret complex drawings, apply knowledge to solutions and incorporate changes where deemed necessary Analyze fixture construction and manufacturing techniques Maintain and update drawings and / or changes from 'start to finish' on assigned projects Analyze detailed and complex drawings to determine specific requirements Follow through in the manufacturing of a projects Anticipate, recommend and respond to changes where needed to ensure products can be delivered and installed per plan Assist in training of team members to meet established standards Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Production Manager Core Competencies : Be a team player by displaying a positive outlook, offering assistance to co-workers, communicating effectively, and working cooperatively in a team environment Effectively manage time and priorities Be dependable and complete responsibilities on time Adapt to change and be open to new ideas Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.
