Summary : The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for proper shipment of fixtures and receiving of products for our Minnetonka facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Adheres to Goebel's Core Values and all safety and quality requirements Organize and stage multiple jobs on the loading dock for future shipments Comfortably operate and adjust the following equipment : lift trucks, pallet jacks, cargo bars, straps, dock plate, and Johnson bar Complete final inspection of fixtures to ensure it meets company's quality standards Verify fixtures are marked with required information Follow company's loading processes Verify form, fit and function of items being shipped Identify and document outbound shipment Receiving of inbound shipments Manage and update shipping schedule and related documents Attend meeting and report status of shipments Assist co-workers by being willing to answer questions and demonstrate procedures Complete forms for shipping area, including : ship tickets, ECR, Waybills etc. Process crate shipments Process UPS / FedEx shipments Analyze bill of material and load list to ensure all materials and fixtures are shipped to jobsite Ensure HAZMAT restrictions are followed Work with logistics companies to insure competitive pricing Achieve and approve accurate freight charges Other duties as assigned by manager
