Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable/Payables Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable & payables processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial software.
Duties
- Process and record incoming payments accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and follow up with clients as necessary.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts related to accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all transactions in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.
- AIA Billing
- Process and monitor vendor & subcontractor payment requests.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks including journal entries and account analysis.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounts receivable & payables management and general ledger reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial data effectively.
- Experience with financial software such as Foundation, Textura, Bill.com, Procore, and GCPay is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
