What are the responsibilities and job description for the LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE (LVN) position at Goethe International Charter School?
Perform or assist with basic nursing care, personal care, and specialized physical health care procedures such as:
• Diabetes monitoring, including blood sugar testing and insulin administration.
• Catheterization, gastrostomy tube feeding, oral suctioning, and ostomy care.
• Administering prescribed medications and providing ventilator-dependent care.
• Screen students for health conditions (e.g., lice, fever, vomiting) and communicable
diseases requiring exclusion from school.
• Assist with general health office management, including documentation and immunization record maintenance.
• Clean medical equipment and maintain the health office in an orderly manner.
Salary : $28 - $32
