Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for managing inventory data and ensuring the smooth flow of materials through our systems. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of inventory management principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Input Inventory Data: Daily entry of inventory data into computer software systems is a crucial aspect of this role. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for accurately recording all incoming and outgoing inventory, including quantities and specifications.

2. Reorder Management: Monitoring inventory levels and determining when to reorder materials is essential to prevent stockouts and ensure uninterrupted operations. The candidate will be required to analyze current inventory levels and usage patterns to make informed decisions regarding reorder points and quantities.

3. Tech Savvy: Proficiency with computer software and inventory management systems is a must. The Inventory Control Specialist should be comfortable navigating various software platforms and leveraging technology to streamline inventory processes and improve efficiency.

4. Organizational Skills: Proper organization of inventory and material data is vital for effective analysis and manipulation. The candidate will need to develop and maintain systems for categorizing and labeling inventory items, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.

5. Data Analysis: The ability to analyze inventory data and generate meaningful insights is a key aspect of this role. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting regular audits, identifying trends, and making recommendations for process improvements based on their findings.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in computer skills, including Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and SAP Business One or similar inventory management software.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
