The Retail Sales Assistant is a forward-facing representative of Goffstown Green Thumb Garden Center & Store.
The Retail Sales Assistant will provide excellent customer service. This individual should exemplify strong communication and organizational skills while working together with other store staff, the Senior Store Assistant, the store owner and business manager. This individual will help identify customer needs, answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints is vital.
Essential Functions & Duties
- Greet and direct customers
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products
- Operate POS system to check out customers
- Maintain standards of organization and cleanliness
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated strong sales and customer service skills
- A consistently positive and hospitable demeanor
- Ability to stay organized and manage time efficiently
- Able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry products in order to perform essential duties
- A working knowledge of basic computer skills including a POS system.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
