We're seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic with expertise in Lear 60 jets to support our operations at Modesto Airport on an as-needed basis. JOB DUTIES:
- Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and perform repairs
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, maintenance manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, company policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations
- Ability to perform maintenance on ground support equipment as needed
- Ability to work outdoors and in weather as necessary
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- FAA mechanic’s certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
- 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience with Learjet aircraft required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and maneuver around aircraft
- Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and other required background checks
- Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge
- Ability to work various shifts, overtime, and/or after-hour call outs will be occasionally required
- Required to own and maintain set of tools suitable for working on aircraft.
