We are hiring an Operation Specialist to manage delivery service providers (DSPs), optimize logistics processes, and ensure smooth, cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort packages by zip code for delivery by DSP
- Supervise temporary workers during the sorting process
- Train temporary workers in sorting procedures and best practices
- Communicate with DSPs to resolve delivery issues
- Identify and establish potential partnerships with new DSPs
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Coordinate truck dispatch and ensure smooth delivery operations
- Design efficient delivery routes for drivers to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
- Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, or delayed parcels
- Work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Other tasks assigned
Qualifications:
- Morning Shift (Start from 5am/6am)
- Experience in logistics operations or vendor management (DSP) or warehouse preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of logistics systems and industry regulations is a plus.
- Educational background in logistics, supply chain management, analytics, engineering, or related fields is perferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
