Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Specialist to join our team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for various duties related to materials handling, warehouse management, sorting, and shipping/receiving. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the operation of equipment such as pallet jacks.Responsibilities:
- Sort packages by zip code for delivery by DSP.
- Supervise temporary workers during the sorting process.
- Train temporary workers in sorting procedures and best practices.
- Communicate with DSPs to resolve delivery issues.
- Identify and establish potential partnerships with new DSPs.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized· Coordinate truck dispatch and ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Design efficient delivery routes for drivers to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency.
- Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, or delayed parcels.
- Work closely with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Other tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Chinese .
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping and receiving role is essential.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management purposes.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and stock management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
