GoFundMe is a global community of over 150 million people who come together every day with the common purpose of helping one another. Our mission is to help people help each other through our best-in-class technology. In 2022, GoFundMe joined together with Classy, a leading nonprofit fundraising software company that enables nonprofits to connect supporters with the causes they care about. Together, GoFundMe and Classy have empowered people and organizations to raise more than $30 billion since 2010. Our vision is to become the most helpful place in the world.

Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Product – Classy Studio to lead the product strategy and execution for Classy Studio, the centerpiece of GoFundMe’s Enterprise Software suite for over 4000 of the world’s leading non-profit organizations. In this role, you will define the vision for Classy Studio, driving the development of innovative features and tools that empower nonprofits to build meaningful connections with their supporters. You will lead a best-in-industry dynamic team, collaborating across engineering, design, and business teams to deliver impactful, scalable solutions that serve both B2B and B2C audiences. Your leadership and technical expertise will ensure Classy Studio remains a powerful, mission-driven platform that enables nonprofits to make a greater impact on the world.

Candidates considered for this position will be located or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role with expectations to go into the SF office 3x per week.

The Job…

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Classy Studio, ensuring it delivers world-class experiences for nonprofits and businesses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals and set clear priorities that align with company objectives.
  • Own the product roadmap, driving the development of intuitive admin tools, scalable site-building features, and seamless e-commerce integrations to support both B2B and B2C use cases.
  • Build industry-defining Generative AI and Machine Learning products using intelligence of the combined data sets from GoFundMe and Classy.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design teams to make informed technical and design decisions, ensuring alignment between product goals and system capabilities while balancing trade-offs effectively.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, developing a deep understanding of their needs through user research and data analysis to create impactful and empathetic solutions.
  • Collaborate with privacy, legal, and compliance teams to ensure all product development adheres to regulatory standards while maintaining user trust and experience.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics, A / B testing and qualitative research to prioritize initiatives, measure success, and iterate on products.
  • Represent Classy Studio externally, presenting at conferences, engaging with large customers, and building relationships that showcase the platform’s value and innovation.
  • Inspire a team of top notch product managers, fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on delivering meaningful impact for customers and the business.
  • Navigate ambiguity with confidence, creating structure and clarity in unstructured environments to ensure progress and alignment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to scale Classy Studio’s offerings, supporting long-term business growth and positioning the platform as a leader in its space.

You…

  • 10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years leading teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven success in mid-sized companies, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of product strategy, execution, and outcomes.
  • Ideally, deep experience with e-commerce platforms, site builders (e.g., Wix, Shopify), and SaaS admin tools.
  • Technical proficiency to engage in roadmap conversations with engineering teams and understand technical trade-offs.
  • Experience working across both B2B and ideally B2C markets, with an understanding of the unique dynamics of each.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in using data to guide decision-making, prioritize initiatives, and measure success.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, executives, and customers, and present on stage at events.
