GoGather, a leading global event management agency based in San Diego, is seeking a dynamic Revenue Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be crucial in helping us continue to grow within our market.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, the Revenue Support Specialist will ensure our revenue-generating activities run smoothly. You’ll lead efforts for outbound sales, both in-person and digitally. You’ll also assist in sales research, proposal development, CRM management, reporting, onboarding and ABM support. The ideal candidate will be analytical and sales-minded, with a keen attention to detail.
- Conduct detailed sales, market, and competitive research to identify growth opportunities
- Lead outbound sales efforts, including prospecting, emails, calls, and setting up sales meetings
- Create compelling proposals and responses to RFPs
- Support in the creation and maintenance of Executive Sponsor Program alongside company leaders
- Maintain communications with Executives’ network and potential past opportunities
- Lead research efforts for improved pricing, proposals, and messaging
- Maintain and manage CRM data (Hubspot), ensuring data integrity
- Generate and analyze sales reports to provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and content creation for outbound sales and ABM efforts
- Assist in creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for revenue processes
- Provide support for project management teams, including new client onboarding materials
- Attend trade shows and industry events to create relationships and potential sales opportunities
- Drive continued relationships with potential leads
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive insights, and prospect challenges to support revenue strategies
- Work closely with Marketing Specialist to produce ideas for content marketing based on conversations and research on the sales side
- 2-5 years of experience in a sales support, BDR, sales, or related role
- Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Experience with outbound sales and setting up sales meetings
- Excellent writing and communication skills for proposals and internal reports
- Basic design skills for creating presentations
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Hubspot preferred) and data management
- Ability to generate insightful reports and dashboards
- Experience attending trade shows and events to network and build sales opportunities
- Strong client-facing presence
- Quick learner who’s proactive, organized, and ready to tackle diverse tasks
- Experience in professional services preferred
