Allied Wire & Cable, a GCG Company, is currently seeking a Junior Sales Development Representative to add to our dynamic Sales Development team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of reconnecting with our former customers, sparking new business opportunities, and showcasing the unmatched value of our wire, cable, and wire-management solutions. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of regaining market share and fostering long-lasting customer relationships by delivering best-in-class service, competitive pricing, and an expansive inventory.
Note: This position offers a hybrid work arrangement upon completion of the 60-90 day product, systems, and process training. When onsite you will work from our office located at 101 Kestrel Dr, Collegeville, PA 19426.
What you'll do
- Proactively generate outbound calls and emails to reconnect with former customers and identify their current wire and cable needs.
- Leverage Sales Engagement and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage business activities, track progress, and optimize workflows.
- Approach customers with curiosity and understanding to build trust and secure business opportunities.
- Educate customers about our products, services, and value propositions to drive new customer acquisition.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new customers and transition them to the Customer Success team for ongoing relationship development.
- Achieve and exceed KPIs established by the Director of Sales Development with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Participate in training sessions and company meetings to enhance skills and team collaboration.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college or university coursework (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a call center, customer service, or sales-related role.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot CRM is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
