Overview
Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently hiring for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where your contributions matter!
As a Team Lead, you will lead daily huddles, oversee warehouse safety, communicate with different departments to drive production and meet daily goals, and ensure smooth operational flow.
Hours: 7:30AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri
Pay Rate: $22/hr full benefits
Location: 3800 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323

What You'll Do
- Lead daily huddles to set and prioritize goals
- Consistently move around the warehouse to ensure associates have what they need, answer questions, and maintain communication across departments
- Facilitate and drive production by ensuring machines are working, oversee safety compliance, conduct audits, and provide support for employees
- Work alongside management to conduct employee evaluations, performance tracking, & train new hires
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, and errors then provide feedback to managers to help create ideas for team improvement
- Create and share reports that document production numbers, 5S completion, order information, and other relevant information
- Assist with other department duties as directed
What You’ll Bring
- High school education or GED equivalent required
- Current or previous sit down forklift license required
- At least 3 years of warehouse lead experience required
- Experience with ERP, SAP, or WMS required
- Ability to read a variety of communications, work tickets, packing slips, emails, memos and follow directions as written
- Strong communication skills and ability to be proactive and come up with creative solutions to optimize workflow
