What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Gogo Jewelry?
We are looking for a Retail Sales Team Member to provide excellent customer service skills. Candidates with strong communication skills, work ethic as well as a strong working knowledge of POS systems. Knowledge of Shopify online a plus. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions in store about Gogo's designs and processes, and make recommendations. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly address potential customers needs will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers are satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s team atmosphere of representing the Gogo Brand.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers, in store as well as via phone and email.
- Provide accurate information (e.g. Gogo's Story of design and inspiration)
- Answer customers’ questions confidently
- Cross-sell products
- Inform customers about special offers or upcoming events
- Fulfill online orders to be shipped
- Process special orders and repairs
- Participate in inventory control/counts
- Participate in traveling trunk shows (as needed)
- Packing and unpacking products/marketing materials for trunk shows
- Stay up-to-date with new products
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all products and store cleanliness
- Maintaining the Gogo Jewelry Brand dress code
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- POS systems, computer skills a must
- Knowledge of inventory procedures
- Basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments during peak times
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
- BS in Marketing or related field is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
