Going Places Travel is a rapidly growing travel management company. We have expanded to 5 office's in the past 4 years, and we will continue to grow our footprint as opportunities arise! Our current 5 locations are Wasilla, AK, Anchorage, Berkeley CA (headquarters), Danville, CA, and La Jolla, CA.
We are looking for an experienced corporate/leisure travel agent who is fluent in Sabre and is comfortable working in the office as well as virtually with all other team members in other office locations. This position will be based in our beautiful Wasilla Office!

As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients with their travel planning needs. If you have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales background, we want to hear from you!
Desired skills include:
- Comfortable working in Sabre Red 360 as a ticketing agent (we will train if you are not)
- Skilled in selling travel services to both corporate and leisure clientele
- Must be well organized, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent customer service and phone skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented for trip research and cost comparisons.
- Knowledge of FIT planning, hotels, cruises, and tours.
- Self-motivated on problem solving and learning new skills.
- Open-minded and a team player.
- Professional demeanor and teamwork attitude
Competitive salary based on experience, agent incentives based on sales, benefits including 5% commission payout to you from everything you book, 401K with matching funds to 4%, paid vacation/sick time, medical insurance (partial paid) and supplemented FAM trips.
