GOJET AIRLINES - Technical Aircraft Records Specialist-Maintenance Journal Management
LOCATION: St. Louis Headquarters, St. Louis, MO
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Technical Aircraft Records Department is responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed on aircraft, engines, assemblies, and components. This includes compliance with FAA regulations, aircraft/engine lease obligations, and General Maintenance Manual (GMM) policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer operations, including 10-key skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively across multiple departments.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality with work-related documents.
- Willingness to relocate to the St. Louis area.
Preferred:
- Three years of experience in aircraft records management.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance tracking systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Promote safety as the top priority in both aircraft and personnel operations.
- Maintain compliance with FAA, EPA, OSHA, and GoJet Airlines policies and procedures.
- Audit and maintain configuration records in the computerized maintenance tracking system for Flight Logbooks, Routine, and Non-Routine Work Orders.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of maintenance documentation against system records.
- Scan, manage, and maintain technical and trace documents in the company database.
- Perform data entry and retrieval functions related to aircraft recordkeeping.
- Respond to inquiries regarding historical and statistical maintenance records.
- Prepare and distribute reports, ensuring compliance with required procedures.
- Assist with answering phone calls, taking messages, and providing general information as needed.
- Train personnel in records-keeping processes and procedures as required.
- Adhere to punctual attendance and work schedule commitments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing between 10 – 30 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity.
