The SAP COE Manager is a working manager who leads a team of professionals in the operation, support, enhancement, stewardship, upgrades, and project implementations for GOJO's SAP ERP and related or interfaced systems. The COE team includes Business Process Owners, Master Data Specialists, and other professionals that help ensure our SAP systems adequately and efficiently meet GOJO's current and evolving business needs.
Operation, Support, and Stewardship:
- Monitor batch job execution, interface (IDOC, RFC, etc.) errors, Help Desk incidents related to the GOJO SAP systems.
- Respond appropriately to high-priority incidents and business requests.
- Manage work queues for incidents and standard changes
- Ensure systems and modules within the scope of responsibility are maintained to current supported versions and patch levels
Enhancement, Upgrade, Project Implementation:
- Lead applicable IT Demand Management processes and manage lists of priority initiatives
- Lead internal and external resources in the requirements gathering, design, build, test, implementation processes
Team Management:
- Ensure clear primary and backup responsibility assigned for each core SAP function
- Identify and communicate job expectations: planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and development of team members
- Expand SAP knowledge base and best practices through research, industry seminars, workshops and user networking
- Will perform other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred. In lieu of degree, minimum seven (7) years' experience with SAP
- Minimum five (5) years' experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Proven analytical and process skills
- Demonstrated success in problem solving
- Strong interpersonal skills and team management experience
- Experience successfully leading cross-functional teams including internal and third-party resources
- Manages individual contributors and project teams
- Reports to SAP COE Senior Director
