Gojob is hiring a Yard Jockey / Switcher in Nashville, TN for a global logistics company. You will be responsible for moving and spotting equipment required to facilitate the needs of warehouse and processing material for shipment or storage.
The responsibilities of Yard Spotter / Hostler include trailer sanitation, moving equipment, and conducting daily inspections.
Once spotter duties are completed, you will be required to be able to jump in and do warehouse / forklift duties.
Shift Available :
- Hours : 6 : 00AM - Finish
- Starting pay : starting at $25 / hr
Responsibilities :
- Moving equipment and trailers around the yard
- Completing trailer sanitation before reloading
- Notifying management of repairs that need to be made
- Storing equipment in safe areas
- Conducting regular inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment
- Conducting an inventory of equipment
- Forklift / Warehouse duties (loading / unloading trailers)
- Other duties as needed
Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of tractor-trailer experience is preferred
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Forklift certification and switcher experience
