\n- Develops preliminary designs and help establish functional requirements for new devices and systems.
- Programming of PLC, drives, safety controller
- Maintaining and updating Electrical drawings in AutoCAD
- Develop wire schedules for interconnection in the field
- Support FAT and SAT at customer locations
- Creates estimates and budgets, ensure part and system procurement, oversee the fabrication of electrical equipment, manage vendors and contractors, deliver complete and up-to-date technical documentation.
- Coordinates installation and startup of projects ranging from minor adjustments to existing machinery to significant expansion projects.
- Provide technical support for issue solving and analysis as well as technical experience for the upkeep, modification, and installation of machinery & equipment used in the production process.
- Involved in all project management activities, such as financial justification, design, vendors/procurement, installation, start-up, qualification, machine acceptance, training for operations & maintenance.
- Travel as required.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of industrial electrical design experience in manufacturing
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley Rockwell PLCs
- Experience doing 2D electrical schematics in AutoCAD.
- The ability to work effectively in a cross functional group setting, including essential technical guidance to support Senior Management
- The ability to work independently, and to lead, coach and mentor others
