POSITION PURPOSE
As Golbon has built an over-the-top customer service culture within our business, this role will continue that ethos in Golbon’s commodity protein division, Golbon Protein Advantage (GPA), by answering emails and calls, processing invoices, providing product / services information, and resolving any emerging problems that our distributor members might face with accuracy and efficiency. This position will also provide relevant market information and sales communications to all appropriate stakeholders. You will act as a liaison to our distributors, suppliers, GPA and other internal company associates to facilitate successful sales transactions with the highest level of customer service, accuracy, and timeliness. This position works cross-departmentally with OCI accounting to ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing and supplier remittance. This position will provide vacation coverage and support for other Golbon invoice programs as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Essential Functions
- Create and manage GPA purchase orders and receivables from sales orders.
- Monitor accounts receivable and elevate concerns or issues as needed.
- Input and price orders as directed.
- Work with GPA sales staff to identify root causes of invoice discrepancies and rectify.
- Analyze short pays / discrepancies and make recommendations to write off or rebill and elevate issues accordingly.
- Ensure all customary supplier documents are kept up to date, including HACCP documents, Certificates of Liability Insurance, Letters of Guarantee. Review documents to ensure they are attained, retained, and renewed annually or as needed.
- Respond to and determine the best course of action for all inquiries and / or complaints from customers or suppliers.
- Manage customer and supplier databases.
- Functions as backup resource for other Golbon invoice programs as needed.
- Assist Lumen Creative, our in-house marketing agency, and Tality, our special events agency, with financial and administrative tasks including billing, expense reconciliation, and collections.
- Other duties as assigned.
