Parts Sales Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to oversee our parts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, supplier relationships, and the overall efficiency of the parts operation. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure that all parts and supplies are readily available to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of parts and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
• Oversee supplier management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
• Utilize an Order Management System (OMS) to track orders and manage inventory effectively.
• Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking parts usage and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing parts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the warehouse environment, including proper forklift operation.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
• Provide support for HVAC and automotive diagnostics as needed, ensuring that technicians have access to necessary parts.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in inventory management and supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in parts management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and order management systems.
• Experience with CMMS software is a plus.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers, technicians, and other departments.
• A background in HVAC or automotive diagnostics is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $66,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
