Machine Operator 1st Shift

Gold Bond Building Products, LLC has an immediate opening for an hourly Machine Operator at our Portsmouth, NH location.

1st Shift ( 7:00am - 3:15pm )

Your mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic & positive attitude will drive your success as you become our newest Machine Operator!

Major Job Responsibilities (not all inclusive):

· Know and comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures

· Identify and communicate safety hazards and quality deficiencies to management

· Perform production line equipment operation, troubleshooting and adjustments

· Perform production equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and safety

· Communicate repair functions and needs with shift supervisor and maintenance department

· Operate a forklift safely and efficiently

· Routine quality control tests performed

· Enter qc data into quality software system

· Perform production line changeover and set-ups of packaging line machinery

· Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace

· Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

· Safety oriented individual

· Preferably mechanically inclined

· Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction

· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management

· Strong organizational & prioritization skills

· Problem solving and decision-making abilities
