Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to secure new commercial lawn maintenance contracts and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within landscaping or a related industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients within Palm Beach County and surrounding areas.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives.
- Conduct cold calls and execute sales email campaigns to generate new leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and bids for new contracts.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contract terms to successfully close deals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to promote Gold Coast Property Maintenance.
- Engage with various types of customers including commercial property management companies, business owners, HOA boards, corporate clients, and real estate developers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the commercial lawn maintenance space.
- Strong network of contacts within the commercial property management sector in Palm Beach County.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
