Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Technician to join our team. As a QA Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products through data collection, quality inspections, and adherence to quality management systems. Your role will involve utilizing various measuring tools and equipment, such as coordinate measuring machines and micrometers, to perform quality control checks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems and FDA regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Perform measurements using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement in quality control processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues or non-conformances
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems
- Monitor adherence to FDA regulations and company quality standards
- Fabricate test samples or prototypes for evaluation purposes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in quality assurance is preferred
- Proven experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and procedures
- Proficiency in using coordinate measuring machines (CMM), micrometers, and other measurement tools
- Familiarity with quality management systems and their implementation
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
