Job Title: HR Generalist
The HR Generalist is responsible for the formulation and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and practices, including planning, organizing, developing, and coordinating various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Management: Develop and administer effective recruitment programs to attract top talent.
- Personnel Records and Reporting: Prepare, recommend, and maintain accurate records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.
- Policy Administration: Propose, publish, and administer personnel policies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Classification and Job Descriptions: Classify and reclassify positions, write job descriptions, and administer classification programs.
- Public Information and Advertising: Provide public information regarding company-sponsored events, job openings, and promotions through various channels.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports outlining current staffing trends, needs, and future projections.
- Business Relationships and Partnerships: Develop and maintain business relationships with staffing agencies to fill immediate and urgent staffing needs.
- Affirmative Action and Compliance: Maintain affirmative action plans and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate new hire orientation training for production staff and supervisors.
- Coordinate compliance, ethics, and leadership training for administrative departments and management.
- Work with Risk Management and Safety teams to identify light duty and ADA transitional work accommodations.
Requirements:
- Bilingual ENGLISH and SPANISH (Required)
- SHRM or PHR (Preferred)
