Job Purpose: The HR Manager is responsible for human resources policies, programs and practices: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordination and project management. Duties include formulation policies and procedures for the Human Resources department and recommending policies and practices to senior management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and administering effective recruitment program.
- Prepares, recommends and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.
- Design personnel forms and directs the maintenance of personnel records by all departments.
- Proposes, publishes and administers personnel policies.
- Conducts wages and salary surveys.
- Administers classification programs. Which include classifying and reclassifying positions and writing job descriptions.
- Provides public information regarding company sponsored events, job openings and bonus promotions.
- Creates and maintains ads for recruiting on social media, Department of Labor and job applicant portals.
- Generates reports outlining current staffing, trends and staffing needs.
- Develops business relationships with staffing agencies to fill immediate and urgent staffing needs.
- Maintain affirmative action plan.
- Coordinates new hire orientation training for production staff and supervisors.
- Coordinates compliance, ethics and leadership training for administrative department and management.
- Works with Risk management and Safety teams to identify light duty and ADA transitional work accommodations.
