RESPONSIBILITIES OF REGULATORY TECHNICIAN:
The Regulatory Technician is responsible for ensuring workplace safety and regulatory compliance within the plant. Key responsibilities include conducting OSHA training and certifications, developing and executing emergency action plans and drills, performing safety audits and inspections, and leading contractor safety briefings. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and reports related to safety and compliance activities. The technician will ensure that the plant remains in compliance with safety regulations and assist in promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility. Additionally, the technician will work to identify and address potential safety hazards to prevent accidents and injuries.
The role also involves responsibility for food safety, quality control, and compliance with SQF, HACCP, and CCP standards. The role supports, implements, and helps maintain the Quality Management, BRC programs, and all relevant procedures to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.
