Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Research and Development Specialist at Gold Creek Foods. The Specialist will be responsible for researching the latest trends and data and applying them to applications that support the company's Quick n' Eat! brand. This position will combine the principles and dynamics of Food Product R&D along with culinary competencies to provide a wide scope of support towards the marketing focus and growth of this brand strategy.
Qualifications
- Research and Development (R&D) and Laboratory Skills
- Understanding of the bench sample process as it applies to the core processing capabilities of Gold Creek
- Ability to organize and conduct customer presentations
- Full knowledge of the commercialization process.
- Maintaining a culinary/R&D lab.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Culinology)
- Knowledge of FSIS labeling and Nutritional Software is preferred, but nor required
