What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Early Childhood Educator position at Gold Crest Retirement Center?
Gold Crest Child Care Center, is eagerly hiring. We are looking for a full-time or part-time Early Childhood Educator, who is enthusiastic and passionate about Early Childhood development and education. They must have a desire to build a strong relationship with children and their families. The focus of our center is FUN and LEARNING and we want someone that truly enjoys the FUN of teaching!
Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Build strong relationships and maintain communication and collaborate with families to achieve success for their child
- Implement weekly lesson plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept classroom that encourages exploration
- Uses expertise and knowledge to adhere to state licensing requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Degree in early childhood education preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience (1500 clock hours)
- Current CPR/First Aid certificate
- Current fingerprint card- will complete
- Valid driver’s license with a current driving record and a reliable source of transportation
- Background check that will reflect a thorough background check including drug testing - we are a drug free environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
