About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Training Assistant to join our team at Gold Cross EMS. As a Training Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the training team in delivering a high-quality training program to our employees. You will also help to ensure that new hires receive the necessary training to perform their job duties effectively and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Paramedic licensed in Georgia
- 2 years of experience in training or related field (i.e., Field Training Officer or BLS Instructor)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
Preferred Qualifications:
- NREMT Paramedic certification
- Georgia EMS Instructor license
- AHA BLS & ACLS instructor credential
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Training and the training team in developing and updating training
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions
- Provide administrative support
- Maintain accurate records of training activities
- Assist with operational needs, including but not limited to functioning in the field as a licensed Paramedic
Skills:
As a Training Assistant, you will use your organizational and time management skills to ensure that training sessions are scheduled and run smoothly. You will also use your attention to detail to ensure that the training materials are up-to-date and accurate. Your proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe will be essential in creating, editing and updating training materials, procedures and protocols. Additionally, your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be crucial in supporting the training team. Finally, your problem-solving skills and experience as a provider will be utilized in evaluating training and making recommendations for improvement.
