Gold Hill Preschool is a larger, non-franchised preschool in the Fort Mill area. We are currently seeking an Education Coordinator or Assistant Director (depending on experience) who will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and professional initial impression for everyone engaging with the preschool. This role involves expanding our vendor-supplied instructional materials, lesson plans, and classroom schedules to enhance the learning experience for younger children. The Education Coordinator provides teachers direct training and professional development, ensuring they have the tools and resources to deliver high-quality instruction. Additionally, the position involves supporting childhood development initiatives for school readiness and conducting student assessments.
This person's responsibilities will also include addressing daily parent inquiries, collecting required paperwork from parents, and taking prospective parents on tours of the center while describing the preschool program. Additionally, this individual will oversee office supplies and snack foods and maintain the preschool's overall appearance.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be well-organized to assist with parent and administrative requests
- Must be able to work in classrooms when needed, give teachers breaks, and assist with supply needs for teachers
- Must pass all state-required background checks and Infant CPR courses
- Must address children and parents in a calm and professional manner
- Must maintain a professional working environment with staff
- Must be organized and able to use our technology platform effectively
- Must verify that classrooms, offices and the kitchen are kept clean throughout the day
- Must be able to work M-F from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
- Respond to all phone calls, emails, and requests the same day the request is received
- Execute administrative work and projects in an accurate, timely, efficient, and professional manner
- Work in a positive, professional, team-oriented manner with integrity and respect for all parents, staff and children.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Experience in teaching, creating curriculum, classroom management, and knowledge of current SC education standards
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be comfortable working with various software packages
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Salary: $20-$22.00 per hour monthly cash incentives
