We seek a Field Market Leader responsible for providing oversight of store level sales activities and performance within the assigned territory, responsible for handling all aspects of one large volume retail customer, including operations, promotional plans, marketing, data analysis and merchandising. Functions as primary company contact for assigned territory.
In this role, you will play an integral part in the success of our business, acting always with a high degree of integrity, efficiency and effectiveness.

Ii. Physical And Mental Requirements
Preparation and Training
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or other Business related field is required in order to prepare reports, perform calculations, keep records and/or deal effectively with other people. Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Experience
Prior food sales experience preferred. Ability to work independently without close supervision is required.
Analytical Ability
A relatively high level of analytical ability is required in order to find solutions to difficult human and administrative problems and competitive market conditions.
Independent Judgment And Consequence Of Errors
Independent judgment is often required in safe driving with varying hazardous conditions due to traffic and weather. Some direct guidance is received from supervision and/or from established procedures and instructions. The consequence of errors is significant in cost of time, customer service, product appearance and customer/consumer relations.
Contact With Others
Must have excellent customer service and relationship building skills. Communicates daily with all levels of management and subordinates relating to marketing, sales and distribution matters.
Work Of Others
May have some responsibility for the work of others.

I. Essential Tasks
Merchandising/Sales/Administrative
- Develops/maintains goodwill with customers on behalf of Gold Medal.
- Assumes complete responsibility for customer program compliance, training initiatives, interaction with Computer Assisted Ordering, and customer rapport--obtaining sales, profitability, merchandising and customer service goals.
- Responsible for any individual contacts as assigned by Management. Keeps management informed of organizational changes that occur with customers throughout your area.
- Ensures follow through on store service coverage requirements and reporting initiatives.
- Reviews, assists and supports all orders for stores within territory including holiday and promotional planning.
- Supports store resets and aisle maintenance.
- Collect and evaluate post program results and forward recommendations with distribution to district leads.
- Perform other administrative functions (i.e. reporting, promo & budget entry, etc.) as requested.
- Follows company policy to ensure safe work habits and conditions for employee. Responsible for following all safety programs and procedures.
- Maintains a high state of safety awareness, including:
- Follows all rack handling procedures.
- Observes proper lifting technique.
- Pays special attention when walking or climbing stairways.
- Is alert to condition of walking surface and other people in order to prevent possible collision or accidents.
- Is at all times cognizant of food quality and safety. If any problem (or potential problem) arises, resolves immediately or elevates to supervision immediately or in a timely fashion, depending on severity and nature of problem.
Ii. Physical And Mental Requirements
- Must be able to hear, understand and speak English necessary for customer communications.
- Must be capable of understanding complex instructions and reading manuals.
- Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work is in atypical office or retail store setting.
