Housekeeping Assistant Manager

Job Summary
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department within a hotel or commercial facility. This role involves managing a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing guest satisfaction through effective leadership, training, and quality control of housekeeping services.

Duties

• Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to established cleaning protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Develop and implement training programs for new hires on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Address any guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.

Skills

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping management is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, guests, and other departments.
• Knowledge of custodial practices, cleaning chemicals, and equipment usage.
• A strong commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and service excellence.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.61 - $18.00 per hour
