What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative position at Gold Medal Environmental - Apple Valley Waste Inc?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
· Daily data entry of Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
· Data input and reporting using internal software programs.
· Maintain electronic and physical filing system.
· Perform additional administration functions as necessary or directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Knowledge of accounting practices including AP/AR.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
· Ability to work successfully with minimal supervision.
· Competence in using the Internet.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· This work is typically performed indoors in an office setting.
· Employees are frequently exposed to routine office noise. On occasion, employee may have a need to enter the garage and/or yard
· When necessary, employees will be exposed to loud noise and various weather conditions.
· Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is required to be properly worn when and where required and will be provided to the employee.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· 3 years’ experience in office management level administrative duties including billing and reporting.
