Gold Ranch in Dayton is looking for a Graveyard Bartender!
Bartenders provide beverage service in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner, which results in guest satisfaction.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prepares beverages for guests
- Replenishes beverages as requested by guests and verifies guest satisfaction.
- Acts as cashier for beverage outlet and ensures balanced monies.
- Assist with maintaining and stocking all supplies to the bar and bar areas
- Inputs orders into a point of sale (POS) machine and create check for each guest/party.
- Maintain cleanliness and overall organization of bar areas, including beverage coolers.
- Check for expiration dates on all perishable products.
- Complies with all Federal, State, and Local Laws pertaining to alcohol sales and safety.
- Perform opening and closing side work as required.
- Ensure that co-workers have necessary supplies to efficiently provide superior guest service.
- Performs additional duties as requested by management.
- Education/Experience:
1-year bartending experience preferred.
Language Ability: - Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.
Math Ability:
- High School level math. Adding, subtracting.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers, management and guests of the casino.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, meets deadlines, and performs duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate the cash register, soda gun, liquor gun, blender, knife, corkscrew, telephone, and ice scoop.
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and casino services.
- Ability to memorize all available drinks, as well as how to make each drink.
Certificates and Licenses:
- Gaming card.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, lift or carry goods weighing up to fifty pounds on a continuous schedule.
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and awkward positions, requiring standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overhead for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity of hand in order to use corkscrew, knives, and ice scoop.
- Ability to walk up to a half a mile per shift and perform duties in confined space.
