Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Office Administrator to join our team and provide administrative support to our marketing department while adhering to the guidelines set by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for marketing and advertising.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating and executing marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and social media initiatives.
- Support monthly Marketing admin duties, including programming systems like kiosks, slot tournament systems, overhead announcements, and digital displays.
- Ensure a consistent schedule of special events, tournaments, and promotions for our casino customers, maintaining complete rules and log sheets for each event.
- Maintain marketing databases and assist in data entry and management.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional items.
- Ability to learn printer plotter to create physical game board and all contributing collateral.
- Assist in maintaining the company website and social media channels, including updating content and responding to inquiries.
- Coordinate the deployment of marketing emails.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office administrator, or similar role, preferably in a marketing or advertising environment.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment, including copier, scanner, and desktop computer.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is not required but is a definite plus.
- Maintains confidentiality of all relevant information concerning employees, company assets, and guests, including handling input of sensitive data entry into players’ accounts.
- Fully understands and complies with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations pertaining to gaming requirements of the Casino.
- Minimum six months previous promotional experience in a casino setting is preferred.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be over the age of 21.

Work Environment and ADA Requirements:
Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift. Must be able to work in a casino environment with loud background noise and a smoky atmosphere. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a minimum of 15 pounds and have the ability to move about the casino and operational areas freely. Must be able to learn to operate a large format printer, moving, carrying large rolls of paper and other supplies. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
