Description
Summary:
Baristas are responsible for providing guests with an excellent experience while preparing and serving beverages.
- Making and serving hot and cold beverages including coffee and espresso drinks
- Welcoming customers and helping them to determine their coffee interests
- Educating customers about the menu options
- Opening and closing the station
- Maintaining inventory
- Keeping equipment clean and in running order
- Basic food preparation and service
Requirements
Key Requirements: For Barista
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Experience making coffee and espresso drinks
- Flexible schedule
- Works well in during busy rush hours
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience required
- Previous Barista experience helpful
- Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card required
Language Ability:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.
Math Ability:
- Excellent math skills; ability to calculate money accurately.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time (Up to 8 hours)
- Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 25lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a small space
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to handle cash, calculate accurately, analyze and account for cash and coin
