Count Room/Coin Operator
Gold Rush Gaming is one of the largest Gaming Terminal Operators in Illinois. We provide slot machines, redemption terminals and amusement devises to bars, restaurants, convince stores, and truck stops. Our focus is providing customer support, and guidance to our partner establishments so they can grow their business and generate more revenue.
SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this position includes, but not limited to, collecting coin 2 to 4 times per month, counting large volumes of currency, verifying the money received is correct, resolving any issues, other duties as assigned. This is a physical position; the successful candidate must be able to stand, bend, twist, carry and push large loads.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and process lockbox cash receipts
- Process and verify currency counts; maintain inventory counts and levels, including vault accountability processes
- Data entry of cash receipts including coding and filing
- Research unidentified cash receipts
- Manage timely and accurate processing of cash collections
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment background check
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk distances
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Requires constant bending, twisting and lifting
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a closed windowless environment with video surveillance present
- Must be able to work weekdays and weekends; flexible availability is a must
