Digital Media Coordinator - Entry Level
The Opportunity
Established in 2012, Gold Rush is one of the most respected and sought out Terminal Operators in Illinois. Gold Rush is currently looking for a full-time digital media coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and manage social calendars to help increase both insights and social media growth
· Actively research social media and marketing trends to stay current
· Collaborate with Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager to plan, create, and schedule engaging content that aligns with brand goals on all social media platforms
· Meets and communicates with staff and other companies/agencies to update and manage company website, collaborating with the development team on app updates
· Ensuring timely responses as sole point of contact between Gold Rush Gaming and all social media inquires
· Ensures that all social media platforms are consistently well-structured, entertaining, informative and easy to understand for all parties
· Execute community events to increase awareness of the brand as well as build relationships and help the local community
· Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work areas and different locations
· Must be flexible and able to travel to different locations throughout the Chicago area based on promotional and event needs, as well as installation of marketing material
· Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
· Analyze results of social media efforts, submit monthly social media recaps to Marketing Manager
· Performs tasks to support the marketing team for Gold Rush Gaming
Qualifications
· Proficient in social media management (Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and Hubspot)
· Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or a similar field required
· Extensive knowledge of social media
· Knowledge in phone application and website development preferred
· Hands-on experience creating and managing Google Ad campaigns, including display ads and local campaigns preferred
· Strong interest or background in photography, with the ability to capture high-quality images when necessary
· Must possess excellent customer service, problem solving skills and an eye for detail
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data
· Must be able to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multitasking fast paced format
· Some marketing or special event experience and basic understanding of finance and drivers of performance
· Graphic design experience a plus
· Computer literate with software systems to include Windows, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, and Power Point
· Knowledge of community and surrounding areas a plus
· Extremely organized and diplomatic with the ability to work well under pressure
· Must be able to work well as a team and independently
· Ability to perform physical requirements of position
· Flexible schedule, some evenings and weekends are necessary
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Minimum 21 years of age
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
