Job Summary
As a General Manager at Gold's Gym, you will be responsible for delivering world-class service to our clubs and members by leveraging in-depth knowledge of our company products and programs. You will foster a culture of excellence within the club by assembling a team of dedicated professionals who share our mission, passion for helping others achieve their goals, and commitment to community health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and manage a high-performing membership team that aligns with company initiatives and culture.
- Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved standards.
- Enforce all club rules, policies, and promote proper execution of procedures.
- Maintain a fully staffed club through application review, interviewing, and hiring recommendations.
- Drive results and continuous improvement in Service and Fitness categories through business acumen, relationship building, individualized communication, and accountability of department head team.
- Guide department leaders in establishing goals, brainstorming strategy applications, and achieving club and career goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to grow our member community.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10 employees in a team environment with measurable outcomes of employee development and promotion.
- 5-7 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations industry experience.
- Experience managing P&L and trend reports with demonstrated math and analytical/ratio skills.
- Demonstrated success managing through defined strategy and delegation.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
