**Job Title:** Stockpile Operations Technician
**Location:** Lovelock, NV

**About the Role:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Stockpile Operations Technicians** to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to collect, prepare, and analyze samples from stockpiles of raw materials, such as minerals, aggregates, or other bulk commodities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sampling protocols, safety procedures, and data recording. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collect representative samples from stockpiles using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Follow established sampling protocols and safety guidelines to maintain integrity and compliance.
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.
- Operate and maintain sampling equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Record and report sample data accurately, including location, time, and material type.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor stockpile conditions and report any irregularities or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in sampling or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience hiking and climbing rugged and mountainous areas.
- Previous experience with ATV and light truck operation on rugged terrain, trails and roads.
- Previous experience in sampling, mining, construction, or a related industry is preferred.
- Previous experience in drone operation and aerial surveys is preferred.
- Previous experience using Google Earth and other GPS mapping software is preferred.
- Familiarity with sampling tools, equipment, and techniques is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions and terrains, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
**Work Environment:**
- This role involves working outdoors in rugged terrain in various weather conditions and may require travel to different sites within Northern Nevada.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
