What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pest Control Technician position at Gold Wynn Management LLC?
We are looking for a Pest Control Technician who is knowledgeable about the different kinds of pests and their habitats.
A Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting our properties and units, advising us on possible treatment options, and clearing the environment from items that could attract pests.
Ultimately, you must be able to identify the type of insect, bug, or animal you encounter to help Gold Wynn get rid of them more effectively.
Pest Control Technician Duties :
Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation.
Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
Take the required measurement of the area in need of treatment.
Manage preventative treatments at buildings with known infestations.
Use different pest control methods such as the setting of traps or baits to remove or kill pests.
Apply pesticide safely in buildings or structures and the surrounding environment.
Pest Control Technician Qualifications :
At least three years as a Pest Control Technician or similar role.
GED or High School equivalent required.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
General knowledge of all health and safety regulations.
EPA pesticide applicator certification is required.
Pest Control Technician Skills :
Ability to recognize problems and provide practical solutions.
Ability to pull / lift 50 lbs.
Demonstrate a strong sense of personal accountability and honesty.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to succeed in a fast paced environment.
Outstanding skills in interpersonal relations and communications.
Dynamic, outgoing and positive personality that is complimented by an approachable and collaborative attitude.
Clear understanding of and compliance with federal and state landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing laws and standards.
Must possess physical stamina and be able to withstand harsh conditions.
Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work in uncomfortable environments.
Must be detailed oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions in applying pesticide to avoid harm to the client and self.
Must possess good customer service skills and be customer-focused.
Strong ability to keep good records of hours worked, chemicals used and payment collected.
