Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide clinical and surgical care for laboratory animals
- Support research programs through veterinary expertise
- Maintain compliance with regulations and animal welfare protocols
- Train veterinary technicians and research staff
- Review and approve study protocols
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Clinical veterinary skills, surgical proficiency, laboratory animal care, compliance knowledge, diagnostic procedures, problem-solving
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- At least 3-10 years of experience in veterinary medicine
- Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine; Board certification in Laboratory Animal Medicine preferred
- T3 investigation (NACLC/ANACI is acceptable if completed within 5 years prior to enrollment). A favorably adjudicated SECRET security clearance eligibility, with no access to classified, is required.
- 10 years with laboratory animal research and regulatory compliance

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
