Summary:
We are looking for a Certified Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Developer to support the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), a component of the Department of Homeland Security, serves as an interagency law enforcement training consortium for 100 U.S. Government law enforcement agencies. The mission of the FLETC is to train the men and women who protect the homeland. This contract will provide technical, administrative, and analytical support for the Cybersecurity Division (CSD), the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Cybersecurity Risk Management & Compliance (CRMC) team, and the Network Operations Security Center (NOSC).
The Certified Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Developer must be able to create solution components, including application enhancements, custom user experience, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for providing SharePoint administration and support to CSD staff and the Division’s SharePoint and Teams sites
- Design and implement creative and innovative SharePoint Online portal solutions including libraries, workflows, lists, web parts, permissions, and customizations that facilitate effective collaboration and increased productivity
- Responsible for automating, streamlining, and optimizing process execution on the program with the use of Power Automate to create automated workflows between applications
- Provide ongoing support for the managing and improving of program processes, policies, and procedures relative to SharePoint Online and Power Platform capabilities
- Perform testing and quality assurance of web sites, SharePoint and other systems and products, and resolve usability issues
- Track and facilitate approval of software change requests from submission through implementation
- Create and maintain various templates, guides, Standard Operating Procedures, forms, and flow charts
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Needs a strong applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services and a basic understanding of DevOps practices for Microsoft Power Platform
- Must be able to leverage third-party APIs to develop dashboards and data visualizations from Tripwire, SolarWinds, Crowdstrike, CSAM, Splunk, Tenable Nessus, ServiceNow, and Activu Vis/ability
- Must be able to create technical designs; develop Power Apps; set up and configure databases; automate business processes; extend the SharePoint platform; enhance the user experience; integrate data feeds, dashboards, and reports into SharePoint
- Independently capable of configuring and administering core SharePoint functions
- Working knowledge of general web development technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and schedule across multiple projects
- Exceptional attention to detail for quality control of documents and artifacts
- Ability to work pro-actively and autonomously, self-starter
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years creating solution components, including application enhancements, custom user experience, system integrations, data conversions, custom process automation, and custom visualizations
- Must have a strong applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services and an intermediate understanding of DevOps practices for Microsoft Power Platform
- Background should include development experience using JavaScript, JSON, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET, Azure, Microsoft 365, RESTful web services, ASP.NET, Python, and Power BI
- The contractor assigned to this task must possess and maintain current Microsoft Developer certifications in both Power Platform and SharePoint to work on this contract. Proof of current certification is a prerequisite
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Must be a US citizen

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
The salary range for this position is $77,000 - $109,000 annually.
