The Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides specialized expertise in a technical or scientific field. This role supports research, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices.
Schedule: Standard business hours with flexibility for project-based needs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide technical expertise in research and operations.
- Conduct risk assessments and regulatory reviews.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist leadership in decision-making processes.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Expert-level technical knowledge, analytical skills, leadership, communication, problem-solving, R&D expertise
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in relevant scientific or technical discipline
- Industry-specific certifications as needed
- At least 10 years in the relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 years in biodefense or laboratory research
- Top Secret preferred
The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000.
