Summary:

Manages web environment design, deployment, development and maintenance activities. Also performs testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Administer and maintain our organization's websites, ensuring uptime, performance, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.

• Manage web servers, hosting environments, and related infrastructure, configuring and optimizing server settings for security, performance, and scalability.

• Update website content, including text, images, multimedia, and other assets, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all pages.

• Monitor web security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks, implementing security measures such as firewalls, SSL certificates, and intrusion detection systems to protect against breaches and unauthorized access.

• Implement backup and recovery procedures for website data and configurations, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities in case of system failures or data loss.

• Work in a fast-paced development environment.
• Meet delivery timelines with attention to detail to ensure delivery of responsive solutions.
• Provide technical support to internal users and external stakeholders, troubleshooting website issues, resolving technical problems, and responding to support tickets in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of web security principles, vulnerabilities, and best practices, with experience in implementing security measures and protocols.
• Participate in team development and provide technical advice/implementation.
• Cloud migration knowledge.
• Kubernetes/container knowledge is a plus.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 4-6 years of current experience in the field or in a related area.

• Experience in web administration, server administration, or related roles, with proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web servers. 
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• JSON, Restful, Amazon Web Services/MS Azure experience
• Working understanding of agile processes
