Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Animal Facility Manager within the 503 building to oversee the daily operations of our animal care facility. This role ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, maintains the health and welfare of animals, and manages staff and resources efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry, facility management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Oversee the management and husbandry services for the animal care facilities
- Supervise husbandry and cage wash duties
- Coordinate vivarium activities to minimize research interruptions
- Provide technical support and ensure adherence to customer SOPs
- Conduct training programs and facilitate AALAS certification for employees
- Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with guidelines

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $98,000 annually.
