As the only aerial tramway in Southeast Alaska, guests at the Goldbelt Tram are invited to soar to new heights in scenic adventure aboard Juneau's top attraction. Pay and Benefits:
Seasonal Employees are eligible for the Seasonal Employee Layoff Bonus Plan. The plan is designed to provide an effective means to motivate and compensate eligible seasonal employees during the term of their assignment. However, Goldbelt, Inc. may, in certain limited circumstances, grant discretionary performance bonuses outside of this program, in the sole discretion of the Company.
Goldbelt, Inc. hopes that by providing short-term incentive compensation, this will motivate and increase the retention rate among its employees which in turn will enhance Goldbelt Inc.’s long-term value.
Starting Rate: $15.00 - DOE
Qualifications
NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Ability to meet time and attendance requirements.
Ability to work all different shifts including holidays and weekends.
Ability to handle stress under pressure.
Ability to provide quality customer service.
Ability to learn, understands, and follows oral and written instructions/directions.
Ability to pull, lift and carry supplies and equipment.
Ability to bend, squat, reach and retrieve items from above and in small confined areas.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least fourteen (14) years of age and be able to lift 30 lbs.
Must be able to work an eight (8) hour shift if needed with the ability to stand or walk for long hours.
If applicable, must be able to pass a background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or current enrolment in school.
Twelve (12) months of Retail experience in the field of receiving and/or stocking prefered but not required. Experianced applicants will be eligable for a higher starting wage.
Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES
Retail Stock Clerk I:
Assists with various levels of merchandising such as inventory, stocking, displaying, tagging, etc.
May assists with opening or closing procedures.
May cross train on a cash register.
Keeps retail space neat and orderly.
Assists with sales products being properly and neatly displayed and stocked.
Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Retail Stock Clerk II:
In addition to performing the above duties:
- Repair and assemble displays and fixtures used to merchandise products for sale.
- On a daily or shift basis, restocks inventory of items sold throughout the day.
- Notify Manager or Supervisor when reorders are necessary.
